Animated pictures like gif. & Signatures

I was hoping we could use animated photos/pictures (some are called a 'gif') for our sites. Also I would like to use signatures so we can share our hard earned stats with our fellow players. My sig is too small (declined for size when uploaded) and I don't know any other way to add them to our forum posts. Thanks for your attention. Game On! :)
